Hey guys! I’m sorry I’ve been MIA for the last few months. Things have been pretty crazy. For one, I graduated college, then travelled Australia and New Zealand. I’ve really missed blogging, but had to take a break from it due to everything going on. I’ve taken some time to get back in touch with myself and well, here I am at 11:00 p.m. on a Tuesday night blabbing away on a word document. It’s strange, I find the most inspiration during times in my life that are full of confusion, complication, and uncertainty. It’s probably because there’s just so much going on in my mind—seriously guys it doesn’t stop lol.
Naturally, as humans we settle and find comfort in what’s familiar. If change is placed in our lives it can seem threatening to our happiness. But what we’re truly afraid to lose is the safety of the walls that confine us to our comfort zone. Trust me I’ve been there, certainty is a nice little sheltered place to stay…but only for a little while. Sometimes change smacks you right in the face so that you can gain awareness. Whether that message is positive or negative is for you to decide. The most important thing is that you learn from it and grow closer and more in touch with yourself. I had a lot of life changing experiences lately, one being that I am completely done with school. WOOOOOO YEAH! Well, that’s how I initially felt when I graduated. But looking back, I wouldn’t have changed a second of rushing to class and hitting stuff on King Street, staying up all night freaking out over presentations, meeting some of my best friends, sleepless nights laying in bed thinking about the future, times of pain and realization, lots of long runs around campus, blistering cold nights, trying to juggle every responsibility possible, and most of all learning to embrace change. The past four years made me strong and helped me prove to myself that I can do whatever I want as long as I put my mind to it. It’s all because I was pushed out of my comfort zone.
Sometimes change is easily embraced, a new place, a new workout plan, a new job, etc. But other times it can be scary and painful. When I started college, I thought happiness meant that you had to feel joy 24/7. I quickly learned that life wasn’t that easy and that there will always be ups and downs. I don’t think I really accepted that until I travelled again. I was thrown into a huge group of strangers and got to know everyone over a time span of 21 days. For a lot of the time I had my own problems on my mind. What job was I going to get when I got home, where was I going to live, I missed my family and friends, I hoped Knight and Magoo remembered me…blah, blah, blah. But then I started to listen around and realized that everyone else had little problems on their minds too. The lives of others can seem so perfect and easy from the outside looking in, but once you take a moment to live in someone else’s shoes you’ll realize that you’re not alone. Change and uncertainty are usually just as scary to everyone else.
So yes, I’ve changed my definition of happiness a little in the past four years. I now believe that happiness means finding joy in the little things, being in the present and appreciating the company of those around you, having confidence to be your silly weird self, setting goals and reaching them, and lastly, having the ability to embrace change. With those few bullet points in the back of your mind, life may not always be easy, but it will be fulfilling. I’ve got a lot to work on and I’m far from perfect but I will continue to work towards that inner peace each and every day. When one door closes, another one opens and life can show you a path that doesn’t have an end in sight, but that’s all part of the journey. Enjoy the laughter, confusion, debacle, friendship, love, and pain that life throws at you and chase what sets your soul on fire. On that note, it’s safe to say I’m ready to embrace change so…………I’m throwing out my mittens and moving to Florida! I’m so excited for things to come, I’ll keep you guys updated, and I’ll see you in the Sunshine State….. I love you all and thanks so much for stopping by and staying supportive. As always, stay delightful!!

Hey guys! I hope you’ve had an awesome week. Spring break is approaching, and it’s safe to say I’m beyond ready to be sitting on the beach, drink in hand. This look from SheIn is giving me those spring break butterflies, and really, I don’t think it can get any comfier than a t-shirt dress. Like most beauty junkies, I tend to pack my entire makeup collection when traveling. As I start to conjure up my packing list, I’m trying to determine what I will use versus what I might use so that I can avoid living in a product tornado while I’m on break. And let’s be honest, who really wants to do their entire makeup procedure on vacation? Not me, that’s for sure! I want to spend as little time possible getting ready so that I can enjoy soaking up the sun but still feel confident while doing so. I think I’ve come up with the products that will help me do just that and I can’t wait to share them with you guys!
Loreal Restoring Shampoo and Conditioner: I’m totally obsessed with this shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair so soft and completely eliminates frizz when I let my hair dry naturally! Perfect for the relaxed beach look.
Davines All in One Milk: This is the cherry on top when it comes to having soft, naturally dried hair! Spray some in your palm, run it through your hair with your fingers, let it dry, and wa-lah! Super soft, beach ready hair.
Spearmint Eucalyptus Body Wash: This body wash will relax you with one whiff. Spearmint and Eucalyptus are used to promote stress relief and this scrub does just that!
Goats milk lotion: Goats milk? Sounds kinda gross I know. But it definitely does not smell like cheese lol. I am absolutely addicted to this lotion and it comes in a travel size!
Neutrogena self tanner: Feeling like you don’t have enough color to sport your new bikini? Well this Neutrogena Micro Mist tanner will solve all of your problems. Simply spray it on evenly after you moisturize and you will be perfectly sun kissed!
Bobbi brown tinted moisturizer: This tinted moisturizer keeps your skin full of moisture, has great coverage, and it’s SPF 15! Perfect for spring break whether you’re on or off the beach!
Better than sex mascara: I can’t get enough of this mascara guys, I swear it makes me feel like I have fake lashes on! Easy and effortless.
Bobbie brown highlighting bronzer: This highlighting bronzer will give you the perfect natural glow that you’ve always wanted. Plus, it’s pretty amazing because you can highlight and bronze together!
Neutrogena revitalizing lip balm: I’ve been using this on my lips since high school. It adds the perfect natural pink shimmer to your lips and it will protect them out in the sun!
I hope this list helps you guys sort out your packing list like it helped me! No more disorganization, only relaxation. Have a wonderful night guys, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any comments or questions. I can’t wait to see all of your spring break adventures!

Hello loves! I hope you had a wonderful week. I’m headed home from the beach and then back to school within the next few days and I start classes again on Tuesday. It was so nice to have a little break but I also really enjoy being in my routine and keeping busy so I’m excited to be back on the grind! I’m starting to break out some fall transition pieces and this dress is perfect for days when it’s chillier in the mornings and warmer in the afternoons, plus it’s only $14– that’s Forever 21 for ya! I styled this dress with my favorite sneaks, black and white Adidas Superstars and some of my staple gold accessories. I thought this look would be perfect with rose toned natural makeup, so I used the Naked 3 palette on my eyes and natural brown earth tones for my lips. I used Burt’s Bees lipstick in “Suede Splash” which I love because it is so moisturizing and also has long-lasting color.
So as you guys may have noticed the photos for this look aren’t the best quality, a little blurry and not great lighting (totally not the photographer’s fault). When I got these pictures this evening I was racing the sun to get ready and snap a few before it went down. I was on vacation all week and may or may not have had a few drinks on the beach earlier today- it was 5 O’clock somewhere hehe! At first I felt like I couldn’t use these shots but then I realized that nothing is perfect and that imperfections are what can make a person or a moment unique. I started to think about transition clothing and how fall throws those days at you where you don’t know if you should being wearing a coat or a crop top and just how relatable that type of situation is to so many others in life. Sometimes change is uncomfortable, transitions can be confusing, “blurry” and far from picture perfect but how you choose to see and handle the situation can completely change whether or not the circumstances are bad or good. I know I spent too much time worrying about the quality of these pictures and looking back on it I wish I didn’t spend a minute or even a second being unappreciative of these photos because no matter how much I worried it wouldn’t have changed them, made them less blurry or more bright. Having the ability to see through the “blurriness” and find a way to overcome and grow through confusing unpredictable times will get you much further than dwelling on what isn’t or what could have been. In the end I am happy that these pictures turned out the way they did because if they hadn’t I wouldn’t have had the inspiration or outlook that I do as I type this post out. I always want to center my site around my passions and lifestyle, I want it to have the ability to make life more enjoyable, convenient and uplifting for my readers, but I also want to provide my readers with my insights on life and how I overcome the personal challenges that I face. I truly want to be real with you guys because I think that is so important when it comes to something you are passionate about. While I love fashion, working out and cooking, I am also extremely passionate about writing and sharing my thoughts with the world in order to open others minds the way certain situations open mine.
On that note, thank you guys so much for stopping by! It truly means the world to me. If you have any comments or questions please don’t hesitate to comment below or email me at email@example.com. Hey guys! I hope you’ve had an awesome week. I finally finished summer classes (with all A’s and B’s yay!) and made it to Bald Head Island with my family! I ordered this flounce off-the-shoulder top from Victoria’s Secret a couple of weeks ago and I knew it would without a doubt be the first bathing suit worn on my vacation. The off-the-shoulder look is very flattering to your shoulders and its super easy to tan in, just make sure you pull off the sleeves so you don’t get a tan line on your arms! Summer may be coming to an end but the warm weather is here to stay for a while and now is one of the best times to go bikini shopping because there are so many on sale. This particular top is on clearance for 24.99$ and it comes in 3 other colors so ready, set, shop!
My family has been coming to Bald Head since my twin sister and I were young enough to run naked all over the beach (won’t be happening this time hehe). It’s such a beautiful and remote spot, the only way to get to the island is by ferry and the only transportation used is golf carts! Our house is a row back from the beach but there are no houses in front of us so the view is absolutely spectacular. I’m so happy to finally be here and to be able to relax after such a busy summer and also to recharge before fall semester starts!
Thank you guys so much for checking out my site I hope you have a wonderful day! If you have any comments or questions please don’t hesitate to leave a comment below or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Stay delightful loves!

Hey guys! I hope you’ve had a great week. If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, I’m sure you’ve seen that I was in Florida for the past week. I was visiting family in Jupiter which is located in southern Florida about 30 minutes from Palm Beach. Jupiter is a great because it has everything you need– whether it’s the beach, great restaurants, entertainment, or shopping you can pretty much find it all within a 10-15 mile radius! Throughout this post I’m going to share with you guys a few of my favorite spots that I visited while I was in Jupiter!
3 Natives is a local acai and juice bar with an incredibly delicious menu. They have two locations in the Jupiter area and they pride their business on protecting the environment and supporting the local economy. Their menu consists of yummy acai bowls, smoothies, sandwiches and wraps, salads, cold pressed juices, and bagels! I visited 3 Natives at both locations when I was in Jupiter and throughout that time I tried “The Bird” acai bowl, “Coco Loco”, “Pink Dragon” and “The Pump” smoothies, an Everything bagel with cream cheese, and the Hummus Wrap. Everything I tried was delicious and I would definitely recommend this restaurant because you can order anything on their menu and it will not only be delicious but also healthy and sustainable. Below is a picture of one of their acai bowls. Visit their website to view the full menu and read a little more about their lifestyle!
So just thinking about this place gets me hungry for Mexican…and it’s nine in the morning haha! Thats truly how good this place was. I had the chance to visit Calaveras for lunch one day that I was in Jupiter and it was nothing but outstanding. The service was great, the environment was unique and eye-catching, they had a ton of creative margarita choices, they made fresh guacamole right in front of us, and the food was amazing! When I was there I munched down on some chips and queso, tried the Pineapple Coconut and Cadillac Margaritas, and then finished my cheat day of with the delicious Queso Enchilada. I would definitely recommend Calaveras if you are in the Jupiter area. It is located in the fairly new Harbourside Place which is a great place to knockout some shopping and walk around and look at the yachts parked in the harbor. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Jupiter. Click the link above to read more about their business and view their menu!
Shopping and Leisure
I’ve been going to this mall with my mom and grandma since I was a little girl and the mall magic still hasn’t changed a bit in my eyes! Guys, this mall is absolutely beautiful and glamorous. Every time I go shop at The Gardens I feel like I’m shopping in a movie! Some of my favorite stores to visit at The Gardens are Lululemon, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Anthropoligie but that doesn’t even begin to name all of the stores and restaurants that are featured here in this luxurious shopping destination. Another great aspect of the Gardens Mall is that it doesn’t just end with the mall but there are also other great restaurants, stores, and even a movie theater within less than a mile of the mall!
While I was in Jupiter I visited the Jupiter Beach Resort and Spa to get a massage with the girls in my family. Upon arrival I immediately knew it was going to be a great experience. Before we even made it down the steps the front desk had our keys for lockers ready and had already assigned us our masseuses. No waiting at all! After our massages we headed out to eat lunch at the pool bar and sit out by the pool. The facility itself is gorgeous and sits right on the beach, the service is great and the food was also delicious. My experience at Jupiter Beach Resort was great and I would definitely recommend it to you ladies who are craving a spa day in the Jupiter area! Visit the link above for more info on what Jupiter Beach Resort has to offer!
I have been visiting Juno Beach since I was a little girl and it truly is a beautiful beach. Not only is it very clean, but the beach was just nourished a few years back so it is an extremely comfortable and spacious beach to lounge on or walk up and down. There is a huge pier that gives it the beach town feel, and there is a park very close by if you want to let your kids play and eat lunch. Another cool thing that is very close by is the Loggerhead Marine Life Center which holds marine life exhibits and rehabilitates sea turtles! They also have tours where you can go through and see the exhibits and the sea turtles who are recovering from an injury so you can check out those times at the link above.
