Hey guys! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week. Mine has been busy but successful! I’ve been studying all week for my real estate class test and finally took it last night. I passed! Next up is the state exam and then I will be a licensed real estate agent for the state of Florida. So, I’m not completely done yet, but it’s always nice to see things moving forward. Lately I’ve been feeling beyond grateful for everything life has offered me. Because of that I’ve had so much joy surrounding me not only in my day-to-day life but also in my own thoughts. It’s not always easy to keep a positive mindset. Honestly, sometimes the smallest things can be irritating or throw me off. Recently, whenever I have a negative thought creep into my mind, no matter what it may be, I try to cancel it out with something I’m grateful for.
The current circumstances in Texas are a huge eye-opener to why I have so many reasons to be grateful. (#thinkingoftexas) To see the huge community that has come together to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey is simply amazing. It just goes to show that even in the worst circumstances good will triumph. No matter what, people will always join together to help those in need and I think that’s pretty freaking great. You can donate to the disaster relief fund for Hurricane Harvey at this LINK. It’s the one I used through Red Cross so it’s reliable and you can also pay through Paypal. Even just the smallest amount will make a difference! With that being said, I am dedicating this post to the victims of Hurricane Harvey and listing all of the things that I’m grateful for. There’s so much, probably too much to name but these are the things on the top of my mind right now, so here it goes!
Thank you guys so much for stopping by my site! I don’t want you all to feel pressured, but if you would like to donate to the victims of Hurricane Harvey the link is below. Love you guys so much, you all are seriously the best. Have a great night babes!

Hey guys! It’s safe to say this Instagram round-up is way overdo. I have been trying to get my content back up and make a little bit of a blog comeback and I’m super excited to finally have it rolling again! I recently relocated to Florida and I’m working for The Holland Group as their marketing director. P.S. check us out on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter–I’m the writer behind all of the beautiful houses you’ll see on our pages! I’m loving my job so far, I have great co-workers one being my uncle and owner of The Holland Group. They’ve all been such great mentors and I’m so excited to learn from them every day when I get to the office. I also love that I can incoorperate creativity into my every day duties. I’m currently working on getting my real estate license. I’m going on my last week of the course and I’m currently in the process of getting my own place here in the Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens area! So there’s a lot going on but I can’t complain, life is pretty great! I’m off to study for the day, so wish me luck! Thanks for stopping by, love you guys!

Hey guys! I hope you’ve had an amazing week so far. I am on my lassssst week of the real estate course so it’s safe to say I’m going to be studying in all my free time. It’s been super hard for me to get back into the study grind now that I’m no longer in school so I’ve been resulting to my new comfort snack, Earth Balance coconut peanut butter. Actually, I’m currently licking it off a spoon like a dog. But hey, give a gurl a break. Life is RUFF (pup pun intended). But seriously, it’s so good you should most definitely try it. Although I will warn you…it’s addicting!
Aside from delicious peanut butter I’m super excited about expanding the topics of my blog and thinking out of the box on my posts. I’ve been so lucky to travel certain parts of the world, meet amazing people, and have once in a lifetime experiences. Reminiscing on those times motivates me to become a stronger, smarter, kinder human. Not only because of the lessons I’ve learned along the way, but also because of the realization of how truly blessed I am. I want to strive to grow through my experiences so that I can share a mutual inspiration with others to become the most confident, considerate, and transparent version of myself. So, I thought I would share my bucket list with you guys! It’s a little out there, but hey a girl can dream—check it out below!
Thank you guys so much for stopping by to check out my bucket list. I know this list will forever be changing and growing, but it will be fun to look back in a few years and see how much I’ve marked off. Love you guys so much and I hope you have an amazing rest of your week!

Hey guys! I hope you had an awesome weekend, killer Monday, and that you enjoyed the eclipse. I didn’t have the glasses so I watched it on TV but it was still cool! It wasn’t completely dark here in Florida because the sun was only covered 86 percent, but the sky did go dim and everything was still and quiet. It was strange but peaceful. It kind of felt like the craziness of the world stopped for a second and everything was in sync. Have you guys seen the movie Click with Adam Sandler? I had a moment where time was paused and I felt like I was going to walk inside and see my family frozen lol! Ohhhh the pranks I would play…..(insert sly face emoji)
Anyway, I got this romper from Lola Chiq boutique and it’s safe to say this store will be my weakness now that it’s only miles away. It’s located in Palm Beach Gardens and I swear guys, everything is so cute I wish I could have it all. Check out their Instagram and you’ll see what I’m talking about! I shot this look in downtown Abacoa, where I think I will spend a lot time once I finish my real estate course. It’s clean, updated, has a few cute restaurants, stores, and bars, and is just an overall a pretty area. We ate at Jumby Bay after the shoot, and it was really good! The menu has a wide variety of items, including salads and healthy options. I got the Summer Salad and it was on point! I’m excited to get a lot more exploring done once I have more time. I can’t wait to fill you guys in on all the ins and outs of this beautiful city!
So, I don’t have a lot of time to watch Netflix anymore, but sometimes at night I’ll watch it before I go to bed. I started this movie called What Happened to Monday and I’ve been watching it over the past few nights until I fall asleep. It’s super crazy! It’s the kind of crazy that you’re like “woooow that’s messed up,” but can’t seem to take your eyes away. Lots of action and Noomi Rapace is a total boss. In my opinion, she kills it because she acts out identical septuplets. Parent Trap on steroids? I think yes! I know being an actor is hard work, but acting out 7 different characters? That’s pretty badass. You go girl!
Speaking of bad asses, I’ve been obsessed with the new Halsey album. Okay, maybe it came out in June but I’ve been keeping it on replay ALL summer long. It’s seriously so catchy, and I believe this album was the first female album to go #1 on Billboard top 100 this year. I really like all the songs, but I think my faves are probably “Hopeless”, “Sad”, “Don’t Play”, and “Lie”. I love how her music is so neutral, you can listen to it while you’re working out, jamming in the car, or going out with friends. She also slays the blue hair. Anyone who can rock blue hair is winning at life in my book. She may have inspired me to break out the mermaid extensions again!
Thank you guys so much for checking out my site, I hope you have an awesome day and rest of your week! If you have any comments or questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Love you guys!

Hey lovies! I hope you’ve had an awesome week. If you follow my social media you know I just moved to Florida! I’m loving it here. The only things missing are my fur babies. Once they are here, I don’t think I could have asked for a better location to start my life after school. Lol at the meme that has been going around saying “millennials are buying houses for their dogs—not their children or marriages”. I have to say, I can most definitely relate! I have dreams of a big yard for my pets. But anyway, it could be my energy, or maybe the sunshine, but the people here have been so nice. I have felt so welcomed everywhere I go and I’m so happy I decided to make this move.
I’ve been doing a little revamping to the blog and I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be working with an amazing photographer, Brandon, founder and photographer of Diamond Imagery. He is so talented and I’m super pumped to be consistently collaborating with him! Aside from that I am doing some reorganization to some of the sections on the blog. My menu will now include “Style”, “Pastimes”, “Home”, and “Self”. Style really won’t be changing much, but I would like to do a few more Instagram updates. Pastimes will consist of my hobbies so, posts in this section will be about things like working out, traveling, and cooking. Now that I’m working with a real estate company I see so many beautiful homes and I also love to decorate my own (on a budget)! The home section will consist of some of the current listings at The Holland Group and how I change up the decor in my own home. Finally, self will primarily be about how I lead a healthy lifestyle mentally and physically. I can’t wait to share my thoughts with you guys in hopes that they will be inspiring and beneficial to your lives.
With that being said, I’d like to share a few things that I’ve learned while making the big move. Luckily, I’ve had the support of my family and friends to get me through this huge transition in my life. It’s crazy to think that this time last year I was rushing from class to class, swarmed with assignments and due dates. I think the biggest difference in switching from college life to the real world is that you don’t really have a set schedule. Time management is key if you want to live a productive and success driven life. I’ve realized so much about myself being thrown into a completely new environment. So, I went ahead and made a list of the top 7 things I’ve learned throughout this move and I’m excited to share it with you all!
1.You HAVE to go out on a limb: Whether it’s finding new friends, a job, gym, bank, hair stylist, or place to live, you have to go out on a limb and trust in yourself to make things happen. Reaching out to others is key. It can be intimidating and stressful but as long as you relax into your own skin and know that the first step to reaching goals is communication you will get things done.
2. Who ‘s gonna stick it out till’ the end: This is bittersweet, but true. When you move to a new place you will without a doubt see who’s there for the long run and who may just be a fair-weather friend. Letting go is part of life and I’m a true believer that everything happens for a reason. The people that are meant to be in your life will stay, and those who aren’t won’t. As long as you keep pushing through when times are hard, trust that better things are coming, and realize that you are making the right decision FOR YOU things will fall into place.
3.Your important relationships will form a stronger bond: It’s true, absence really does make the heart grow fonder. Now that I’m so busy and so many miles away, simple phone calls with friends and family mean so much more to me. My sister and I can spend hours on the phone talking now that we don’t see each other every day and our relationship has definitely grown. Reaching out to my friends as much as I can has become so important because I don’t see them every day anymore.
4. Don’t be afraid to ask questions: Asking a question starts a conversation! When I travelled to Australia and New Zealand I quickly learned that asking a local where something was turned out to be much more efficient than navigating the walking directions on an IPhone. The same applies to this situation whether I’m trying to find something around town or meet new people. If you don’t know something, ask. Usually someone will be more than willing to help you. Plus, questions start conversations, and conversations make friends!
5.You will get lonely: I’m not going to lie to you guys and say I haven’t felt an ounce of homesickness. Sure, I miss my comfortable little apartment in Boone, Netflix dates with my sister and pets, and nights out with friends. But I know that this is a growing process that will lead me on the path to being my best me. Change can be uncomfortable but time will fill that void and soon enough you will feel right at home in a place that was completely alien to you 6 months ago. If you start to feel the loneliness creeping in, pick up something that will keep you busy. The feeling will pass. Give it time and trust in your path!
6. It’s all about the attitude: My four-year-old cousin Jack, plays ball in the pool every day. If he has a hard time catching the ball, he and his dad say together, “I am GOING to catch this next ball!” He always catches it. By throwing myself into a new place with so many new goals to achieve it is easy to say I’ve been a bit overwhelmed. I started a new job, class, and I’m also trying get the blog going again. I could spend time focusing on how overwhelmed I am or I could tell myself that I am GOING to reach my goals and knock down any obstacles that stand in my way. Personally, I think the second choice is much more effective!
7. Take things day-by-day: Moving is a huge transition in your life. Whether you graduated and you’re off to college, you’re moving a few states away for a job, or you’re simply moving houses it can be a lot to take on. Take things day by day and realize that you made the choice to move for a reason, the seasons of life will provide you with tremendous growth, and that you are right where you are supposed to be. Adjustment takes time!
Thank you guys so much for stopping by my site! I hope your week is everything you wanted and more. So much love for you all and I’ll talk to you soon!
